Lyons Housing Authority is accepting applications for general Maintenance position for Park Place Apartments and Kingswood Housing. Knowledge of or willingness to learn the practices, methods, materials, tools and equipment used in building and grounds maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and electrical trades. Must be able to work independently, make sound judgments, and possess organizational skills. Valid Kansas driver’s license. Minimum qualifications are graduation from an accredited high school or possess GED, and ability to learn or responsible experience in building and grounds maintenance, building construction or related experience; or combination of education, training and experience equivalent to the above. Wage commensurate with experience. Background check will be performed along with Physical Capacity Profile (WorkFit) test. Position will be open until filled. E.O.E.
